Classes Internationales - Bachelor level

What is the Classes Internationales programme?

This is an innovative integration curriculum for international students wishing to study in France, at Aix Marseille Université (amU). These students benefit from a preparatory year that enables them to acquire some knowledge and skills they need to then join a French-taught Bachelor's degree.

This preparatory year includes:
  •   French intensive courses and immersive cultural activities to discover French life and customs (24 hours per week, at the University Language Centre (SUL))
  •   Disciplinary and introductory courses (5 to 10 hours per week) designed to support integration into the first year of the Bachelor’s programme. These courses help students become familiar with the subjects they will study, as well as the technical vocabulary and methods specific to their chosen discipline.

Who is it for?

The Classes Internationales programme is intended for international students from non-European countries who currently hold an A2 level in French and therefore require additional language preparation before entering a Bachelor’s degree taught in French.
It is open to:

  • High school students

  • Individuals of any age wishing to return to higher education at Bachelor level

This programme is open to applicants from India, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, South Africa, Nigeria and Kenya.
