- French assistantship program run by the French Ministry of Education - France Education International (formerly CIEP)
- Assistantship program in the United States run by the Franco-American CommissionProgram
- with Wellesley CollegeThe
role of the assistant is to improve students' communication skills, particularly oral, and to deepen their knowledge of French civilization and culture. They work in support of the French teachers, and can work with the whole class in their presence, or with small groups of students on their own.
This program is aimed at students intending to pursue a career in teaching, and who hold a Licence 2 or even a Licence 3 at the time of application. A background in FLE is particularly appreciated. Preference is given to first-time applicants.

The
Commission,
in partnership with the Cultural Services of theFrench Embassy in the United States, the Institute of International Education and the CIEP, offers French students (with at least a Bachelor's degree at the start of the program) a number of positions asFrench language assistants in the U.S.
Placements are offered throughout the U.S. at university or school level, and are deliberately allocated away from the best-known destinations. Recipients have the opportunity to take two courses at their assigned university, related to American history, literature or civilization.

assistant will be required to provide 8 hours of French language support per week (in the form of office hours), as well as partial supervision of activities at the Maison ¹ó°ù²¹²Ôç²¹¾±²õe, where he/she will be housed as part of the program. In return, the assistant receives a monthly stipend for 9 months,
as well as a tuition waiver for courses taken at Wellesley College or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with which Wellesley College is a partner. Participation in certain courses will enable him/her to validate ECTS credits for his/her studies at Aix-Âé¶¹tv.

selection of assistants will be made by the academic staff in charge of DEMA ("English Studies") at Âé¶¹tv, in agreement with the Director of the Wellesley-in-Aix program and a teacher from the French Department at Wellesley College.
