Since amU welcomes several thousand new students from around the world each year who enrol to pursue a degree programme (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.), the university strives to offer them the best possible welcome by organising various activities aimed at facilitating their integration into their new environment.

These events, proposed and organized by the International Relations Office (DRI), are listed below and form part of the welcome arrangements put in place by the university.

2025 Sciences and Arts Festival  "Science and Belief"	2025 "International  Month" event
From September 16 to 20, 2025 The 6th edition of the interdisciplinary Festival des Sciences et des Arts awaits you at the start of the new academic year in September 2025! Following in the footsteps of "Safe Place for Science", this year's Festival des Sciences et des Arts questions the relationship between science and beliefs, with over 60 proposals in a wide range of formats (round-table discussions, lectures, tours, workshops, performances, screenings, concerts, theater, radio, picnics) between Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Aubagne!	October 2025 Each year, the International Relations Office (DRI) organizes the Mois de l'International, a flagship back-to-school event designed to promote the international aspect of our university in all its forms. During a whole month, numerous events take place on all university campuses. Conferences, workshops, meetings and many other activities are on the agenda to inspire, inform and engage you in this international and European dynamic that is at the heart of Aix Marseille université!

Start-of-semester integration activities

Each new semester, the university offers an integration activity for its international students. 
This is a real opportunity to meet new people, forge links and discover the region and its exceptional heritage.
 

End-of-semester "Closing Party" festive evenings

These are festive, free evening events organised at the end of each semester and allowing international students to get together and relax during their final exam revision period.

The next Closing Party will take place on Thursday, 11 December, to celebrate the end of the first semester and the year 2025.
