A project led by INRIA Grenoble Rhône-Alpes.
The objectives of the project are to test and quantify the effect of different types of training to help climbers develop their upper limb physiological capacities. In this context, training sessions targeting arm power and finger strength are tested. The expected impact is to allow athletes and coaches to optimize the physical preparation of climbers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The beneficiaries of the project are the federal partners, in particular the FFME. At the end of the project, training and injury prevention protocols will be delivered.
