Create a Chair

A chair is the meeting point between the world of teaching and researching and the business world.
It is an apparatus, financed by one or more socio-economic partners, aimed at developing research and teaching in areas previously defined in collaboration with sponsors.
For AMU, the Chair is on the one hand, a means of promoting research and training and a strategic challenge for companies on the other.

1. Objectives of the project

  • Further academic and applied research on a theme that raises questions for the partner company,
  • Develop innovative training programs for university students, with the participation of representatives of the partner company when possible,
  • Create innovation by organizing dedicated events (seminars, symposiums, study days, etc.).


2.ÌýAdvantages

  • FosterÌýcontacts betweenÌýpartner companies andÌýprofessors specialized in the sectors related to the Chair,
  • Foster meetings between companies and students onÌýthe Chair themes (internships, missions, jobs, theses...),
  • Push forward its programs, thanks to the company's perspective, and adapt themÌýto market needs as much as possible. The objective is to develop teaching methodologies in synergy with the socio-economic world.
