CHORAMU - The AMU choir
The AMU Choir brings together students, teachers and administrative staff from Aix-Â鶹tv. It is directed by Patrick Luppi. The atmosphere is convivial and musically demanding. The choir takes part in the University's major institutional events, and on other occasions, several concerts are held throughout the year, often on weekends.
The program ranges from popular world music to classical gospel and jazz.
Each year, the choir works on a different theme.
On the agenda for 2023-2024 is the preparation of a unique collective musical show , "Olympique", which will take place on 08 & 09 June 2024 at the Dôme in Marseille .The show will bring together nearly 700 artists on stage, and will combine different artistic disciplines (instrumental music, singing, theater and dance).

.

An evening of theater and song by students fromAngie Pict's theater workshop and Choramu, AMU's choir, on Thursday April 7 at 8pm at the Théâtre du Cube on the occasion of the JACES. The text is taken from the play "La Maison de Bernada Alba", written by Federico Garcia Lorca.
On the death of the patriarch, the mother, Bernarda Alba, imposes an eight-year mourning period on her five daughters.
In this staging, two spaces coexist: the inside, that of the sequestered daughters, and the outside, that of the men who prowl and surround the house. Inside, the five girls rebel against their new head of household: the mother; outside, the violence of pre-war Spain is felt through song and poetry.
"This was Lorca's last play; a few days after the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War (July 17, 1936), he was assassinated by members of the Phalange" (a Spanish nationalist political organization of fascist leanings).
