Âé¶¹tv (AMU) is the largest multidisciplinary French-speaking university in France, with 80,000 students and nearly 8,000 staff on 5 large campuses of international standards. The university is present in 9 cities and 4 departments of the Southern Region.

The Aix-en-Provence campus

The Aix-en-Provence campus is located in the heart of downtown Aix-en-Provence and houses the Faculty of Law and Political Science (FDSP) and the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences (ALLSH). It offers excellent multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching in the arts, humanities, languages and humanities, law, political science, economics and management, public and private management and science and technology.
The sites of Arbois, Arles, Dignes-les-Bains, Salon-de-Provence, Avignon, Gap and Puyricard are attached to it.

The Marseille Centre campus

The Marseille Centre campus is located in the heart of the city of Marseille and occupies the historic sites of Saint Charles and the Canebière. It also adjoins the Longchamp Park and the seaside at Endoume. It hosts teaching and laboratories in the fields of science and technology, law, economics and management and arts, humanities and social sciences. The university branches of Aubagne and La Ciotat also depend on this campus.

The Marseille Etoile campus

The Marseille Etoile campus owes its name to its geographical location. Located at the foot of the Etoile mountain, the Saint-Jérôme site and the Château-Gombert technology park form a place of convergence for higher education, research and economic activities in the high-tech sector.

The Marseille-Luminy campus

The Marseille Luminy campus is located at the gateway to the Calanques National Park. The Luminy science park is spread over 1000 hectares of nature and is Âé¶¹tv to some thirty internationally renowned laboratories. This campus offers its students exceptional living and working conditions.

The Marseille-Timone campus

The Marseille-Timone campus is located at the entrance to the city of Marseille, near the major hospitals of the AP-HM. The Timone campus is Âé¶¹tv to teaching and research excellence in health in the Aix-Marseille region (medicine, midwifery, nursing, rehabilitation, pharmacy, dentistry). The site is Âé¶¹tv to some twenty high-tech laboratories, some of which have been awarded the "Plan d'Investissement d'Avenir" label.
The journalism and communication courses on Rue Virgile Marron are also attached to this campus.
