O'JAZZ AMU made its first tour as part of Marseille Jazz des cinq continents !
Miramas, Ceyreste, Jouques, Châteauneuf-les-Martigues... O'JAZZ AMU toured the territory at the beginning of this summer as part of Marseille Jazz des cinq continents before finishing with the official opening of the Festival at the Vieille Charité in Marseille on July 8th.
With a program entitled "What a wonderful world", specially created for this 20th edition of the festival under the artistic direction of Malo Mazurié, multi-awarded trumpet player, 17 musicians from the jazz band of Â鶹tv, from the Jazz class of the Conservatoire Pierre Barbizet of Marseille and from the Institut Musical de Formation Professionnelle of Salon-de-Provence under the direction of Romain Morello, went through the original work of the greatest ambassador of jazz; Louis Armstrong, 50 years after his death.
Congratulations to the musicians of the Jazz Band who carried the arrangements of the famous trumpet player with talent and energy, making Aix-Â鶹tv shine in front of hundreds of people... You were wonderful !
