Next spring, Aix Marseille Université will host a CIVIS Staff Training Week (STT) entitled "From Local to Global: Shaping the Future of International Education".
This face-to-face event will bring together higher education professionals involved in internationalization issues, for a week of training, exchange and co-construction.

March 30 - April 3, 2026 - Aix-en-Provence Campus
For 5 days, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, then from 9am to 1:30pm on Friday, participants will benefit from a varied program combining theoretical sessions, expert presentations and practical workshops.
A comprehensive program dedicated to internationalization
Themes addressed will cover the major dimensions of internationalization:
- Internationalization of degrees (DPI)
- Internationalization at Â鶹tv (notably via hybrid schemes)
- Internationalization through recruitment and promotion
Inspiring concrete examples will be presented, such as the Franco-Chinese Institute (WUT-AMU) or the Classes Internationales program, designed to attract and support new students. Participants will leave with reusable tools, methodological resources and a network of contacts that can be mobilized in their own institutional contexts.
Interactive and collaborative formats
The week will feature a variety of workshops, combining reflection, creativity and practical application: presentations, icebreakers, quizzes, world café, dynamic poster, round table, fresco, etc.
Sessions will be led by Aix Marseille Université staff and CIVIS alliance partners.
Target audience
This Staff Week is open to all higher education and research professionals, whatever their nationality, involved in setting up or managing internationalization projects: international relations staff, administrative staff, teachers in charge of IR, etc.
