The PhD Provence Bootcamp returns for a new edition in January and February 2026 in Marseille. Intended for AMU doctoral students and young PhDs, this intensive training program aims to give an entrepreneurial dimension to their research, and to provide them with concrete tools to add value to their work by making it part of an innovation dynamic.
Organized by Pépite Provence and supported by PUI Provence, this Bootcamp is part of Âé¶¹tv's strategy to support doctoral entrepreneurship.
A format adapted to the reality of doctoral studentsThe
Bootcamp is based on a flexible, intensive format: 3 days of training over 3 weeks, in small groups, to encourage exchanges, personalized feedback and direct practical application. Participants benefit from the support oflocal experts in key areas of Deeptech entrepreneurship: business model, pitch, financing, intellectual property, strategy, entrepreneurial posture, etc.
High-impact skills enhancement
Beyond skills, this training program enables participants to:
- Test and structure an idea based on their research topic,
- Meet a network of innovation players: professionals, financiers, deeptech entrepreneurs,
- Boost their professional posture to better project themselves into the post-thesis period.
A successful first edition
The first edition, held in June 2025, brought together 18 PhD students from all disciplines. At the end of the course, several of them embarked on a development or entrepreneurial path, accompanied by members of the PUI Provence.
