On June 27, 2025, a decisive step was taken in the development of the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) in Arles. At Arles town hall, Aix Marseille Université, the city of Arles and the Arles Créative association signed an agreement formalizing the provision of premises at the Hôtel Quiqueran de Beaujeu, the future Â鶹tv of the Creative Hub.
Supported by Aix Marseille Université as part of the FICCTION France 2030 program, this ambitious project aims to transform this heritage site into a place dedicated to innovation, training and support for players in the cultural and creative industries (CCI). The Creative Hub will offer students, entrepreneurs and creators access to tailor-made tools, resources and support to help them realize and develop their projects, as well as hosting a branch of the France 2030 CISAM+ project.
The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Patrick de Carolis, Mayor of Arles and President of the Arles-Crau-Camargue-Montagnette Agglomeration, Éric Berton, President of Aix Marseille Université, and Marc Rius, President of Arles Créative. On this occasion, Patrick de Carolis praised the involvement of the partners and affirmed his determination to make Arles a dynamic and attractive university town. Éric Berton, for his part, expressed his gratitude to the City of Arles for its support and confidence, underlining the importance of this partnership in the University's outreach strategy.
This project is fully in line with the shared desire to make Arles a genuine university campus and a center of excellence for young people and CCI professionals. The future Creative Hub will be a strategic lever for stimulating the emergence of talent, supporting innovation and structuring the local cultural and creative sector on a long-term basis.
The signing of this agreement embodies the strength of a collective commitment to the region and its ambitions.
